Dog walking (Volunteer commitment: flexible & subject to demand)
Our dog walking volunteers provide short-term help to those who suddenly become unable to walk their own dogs and who have no friends, family or neighbours who can step in and help.
Typical situations include people who fall ill or who need to go into hospital for a procedure that will reduce their mobility in the short-term. Dog’s remain the responsibility of the dog owner at all times and dog owners undertake to provide leads, poo bags and any other support or equipment needed.
Volunteers can do this at times to suit their own personal schedules.
